Driver License Changes
Driver's License Information: As of January 15, 2013, the 2005 Real ID
Act will take effect in Iowa Driver's License stations. A Real ID
Driver's License or ID Card is required to board a Federal regulated
aircraft, Enter a Federal building that requires identification (such as
a Social Security office) and to enter a nuclear power plant. Documents
required to obtain a Real ID are: Certified US Birth Certificate or US
Passport, Social Security Card and two (2) forms of Iowa address
